Describe the wet spaces

Give the address, ZIP and callback details. List the affected rooms and approximate depth. Share the known source and discovery time, or explain what you do not know. Stay outside an unsafe area.

Discuss access and approval

Tell the contractor how the room is reached and who can permit entry and authorize work. Ask about current availability and any assessment charge.

Agree the pickup scope

Review the rooms, tasks, charge and exclusions. Confirm preparation and contents handling. Source repair, extraction, drying and material repairs may be different scopes.

Clarify the handover

Ask how remaining moisture will be checked and what documentation is provided. Confirm additional equipment days, visits or work before agreeing to them.
